Scott Savage - Memento Mori debut 7”

LongHaired Weirdo Records: Originally released 1978. This is a reissue of Scott Savage’s very first release, a 45 rpm single Gypsy Moth b/w Savage Grace. Scott’s band The Streets Living Theater would go on to record and release a full length album with producer Mitch Easter (REM).
Scott was a renowned and respected musical artist in the Carolina region, and a champion of underground artists. He became an elder statesman to many up and coming acts, guiding them and instructing them how to release music as an independent artist. One of those artists was Jeff Clayton of the legendary ANTiSEEN, who chose to make this reissue his very first release on his imprint LongHaired Weirdo Records. A superb tribute.
